I admire that guy. He had a lot of guts to come out when he did.
All that Leather and stuff gave a possible hint stereotyping?moi?

as everyone had guessed, the election has been set for may 5th.
personally, this is my first opportunity 'post wt mind-control' to vote for our next government.
i don't suppose that i will - 40 years of 'neutrality' and non-involvement have rather flattened my desire to take part in political change.. how about you?
A good site that...cheers.
yep,as expected im a lib dem......
.
what is the most ridiculous song that you couldn't listen too.. because of so called bad lyircs (maybe misheard lyrics), sexy beat or because fo the person who sang it didn't have the proper morals?.
mine.... couldn't listen to ac/dc because it meant they went both ways.
One Elder's wife said we could not listen to "Walk Like an Egyptian". As she said "WHy would you want to walk like an Egyptian, they were enemies of God's people?"
Surely,that one takes the biscuit!!!
It seems especially baffling that this should occur in Italy too.
Theres another game taking place tonight between Liverpool and Juventus.A repeat of the 1985 European Cup Final where 39 Fans were actually Killed due to hooliganism....mostly Italians died.
The Juve fans have swore revenge on Liverpool...hasnt anybody learnt anything in 20 Years.
Its only a freaking Game ffs.
..i'm astonished.. "is this the way to amarillo" was a hit for tony christie in 1971. now, the same version is top of the uk charts yet again, 34 years later!
what's more, the singer is actually a yorkshireman whose never set foot in texas!.
englishman.
I think Peter Kay is very ,very funny!
Agreed!Surely Britains funniest Comedian of recent times....and so down to Earth..his Missus still works in Boots apparently....despite him being worth over £10 Million.
...and he finally bought his Mum that Bungalow.....
As for the "amarillo" song.God i hate it!

I wouldnt care if he had made a pact with the Devil to play like he did!! The greatest rock drummer Ever...imo!
i posted recently about a jw friend on mine getting df'd.
(she was the only jw who kept in touch with me when i left 5 years ago).. now i'm just so angry about some things that have been said by my jw family.
just this last weekend my friend hit rock bottom.
Perhaps the whole thing has highlighted to me that I'm not being fully authentic when I'm around JWs.
Sirona,i can totally understand where your coming from.I am the same around my Parents and the few Witnesses i still see...so many times i have wanted to say what is really on my mind, not neccesarily about it being the destructive cult, more the sheer stupidity of the Religion and the lack of chances it gives to People to improve themselves...having to leave School, blah blah, get baptized blah blah, get a crap Job...you know the stuff.
Why do i tip toe around them? They are as subtle as a Brick when criticizing me!!
so, i went to see motley crue at the same place where i used to go to the district convention this last weekend.
it's such a strange feeling walking into those places for the first time since i permanantly left the jw's behind.
the first song they played was "shout at the devil".
I had forgotten that Tommy Lee was also a part time Musician ,not just a erm, film star..cough....
.
for an oldie i'd pick audrey hepburn singing moon river ... mmnnnn, i never get tired of that.. currently i'm listening to norah jones an aweful lot.
she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?
tijkmo
i ve got to agree with you...goodbye to love is beautiful..but it also rocks out! I love that Guitar Solo (times 2) it was one of the first i learnt to play. Its fairly difficult too....

One of my guilty secrets is listening to Karen Carpenter.God she can make you cry with that voice (in a good way lol)
When she sings solitaire....wow.
As far as Blokes voices...i always enjoy the slightly smug sound of Stephen Fry...
